The client had a carport,
and needed a place to hold the shop and garden tools, as well as the
outdoor toys and gear for his two young boys. He also wanted to create a
kid-friendly clubhouse, so the major challenge was fitting ten pounds in
a five pound bag. The clubhouse was created by lowering the bottom floor
ceiling to make room for it on the second floor where the high speed
cable modem allows the kids to watch TV or surf the net. Below ther is a
custom made work bench, plenty of storage area and even a copper clad
potters bench at the rear that serves dual duty as a mower shed to keep
the fumes out of the structure and protect the mower from the elements.
