The client wanted to reconfigure his back yard to create a four-season outdoor living space, divided into 4 distinct areas…a dining room, a sitting lounge, a pool/spa area, and a well-manicured lawn area. We knew this project was an overwhelming success when the owner invited us to a gathering shortly after completing the project. He proudly greeted each guest at his new front entry. From there, everyone was enjoying some part of his private outdoor retreat…there were people playing cricket on the perfectly level lawn, there were several people swimming and marveling over the new steps in the pool, the hot tub was at capacity, the dining area was filled with friends nibbling and imbibing, and every seat in the sitting lounge was taken, the gas lanterns were all lit and both sides of the fireplace were blazing. We recently received a note from the client stating that he loves his backyard so much that he spends almost no time inside the home.
