The desire was to transform an enclosed dated kitchen into a traditional English cottage kitchen. Opening the kitchen to the dining room and installing a peninsula, provides connection while protecting the chef. Additionally, it enhances social engagement while improving flow and sightlines. Aesthetic success starts with the natural stone countertop and decoratively cut backsplash that units the deep rich green cabinet tones with lighter wood floors and other light painted finishes. Unlacquered brass plumbing and lighting fixtures paired with traditional bin-pull cabinet hardware and exposed hinges bring this English Cottage kitchen to life while supporting contemporary living and entertaining
