2009 Whole House Remodel $500K - $1 Million

Combining coziness and modern conveniences together with an emphasis on health and energy efficiency were the owner's goals when they decided to remodel this home. The original structure, built with single wall construction in the 1930s, was cold, damp and drafty in winter and hot and uncomfortable in summer. The remodel project achieved all of these goals by incorporating new materials and technological innovations, while still preserving the look and feel of the original cottage. An engaged client, an inspired designer, and a skilled green contractor produced a result that surpassed the owner's wildest dreams.
