The
clients desired to take this sterile kitchen, create a warm welcoming
room and gain more storage without going outside the existing walls. The
soffits and arched wall at the butler’s pantry were removed, allowing
continuous flow of cabinets. The pantry closet, fitted with custom
cabinet doors, was enlarged utilizing available space. Twelve inch deep
cabinets were added near the breakfast nook, adding storage space. The
use of walnut cabinets, earth toned granite and tile, accent lighting,
and a warm paint color resulted in a beautiful kitchen. Gourmet cook or
not, anyone would love to prepare a meal in this kitchen.
