To update this small,
basic master bathroom, they opened the wall to install triple sliding
glass doors. The doors can be opened from either end, emit light while
providing privacy, and set the elegant contemporary look. The tub was
removed in favor of a large, glass enclosed shower, completely covered
with travertine...as is the floor. The toilet, a low consumption one
with a sculptural shape, was relocated to make room for a longer vanity
with more storage. Frameless European cabinets were used to continue the
contemporary design. The homeowner feels like she has a spa in her own
home.
