"Just some custom
bookshelves" was how this client answered "What type of project do you
have in mind?" Nine months later "some bookshelves" had turned into a
personal library, sitting area, and listening room with a computer work
station. To avoid the wall to wall bookcase look, and to maximize floor
space, they left open wall spaces around the fireplace and across from
it. They used a generous sprinkling of recessed lights, white trim
color, a mirror, and art work to lighten up the room.
