This detached outbuilding
is a pool house structure with a full kitchen, full bath and
entertaining area inside and outside next to the pool that was 6' below
the basement floor. This remote location proved to be the most
challenging part of this project. As beautiful as it was, it took a
tremendous amount of work just to get the utilities to this lower
location. A small road was created in this yard for almost a year. The
final design incorporated a v shape with the Great room in the center
with cathedral ceiling and large Palladian windows in both gable ends.
This half round shape was carried out through to a barrel vault ceiling
over the front porch supported with twin columns.
