This rear one-story family room addition complements the historic, circa 1892-1916 shingle-style home, while ensuring the renovation was identifiable as a new space. The interior layout was completely reworked without impacting the exterior elevations visible from the public spaces.

The renovation improved the mudroom, enlarged the kitchen, and provided a new family room. Existing bedrooms were converted into an expansive owners’ suite and two additional bedrooms with separate en-suite baths. A new outdoor patio and putting green were also created. With 559 square feet added, the home now has 6,351 livable square feet plus 406 square feet in the garage.
