This historic 1861
residence, that had been in general decline for years, underwent a
complete renovation; maintaining the required historic code to the front
exterior, while blending historic and modern aesthetics for the interior
of the home. Unusual obstacles were overcome during the rear addition;
including the need to raise the existing home three inches to level the
floors; further requiring the re-routing of all the mechanicals. Fifteen
months of work transformed this neglected historic house into a
stunning, structurally sound and fully-equipped home that meets the
needs and pleasures of its 21st century family.
