We want our kids and
their friends to be here having fun….Where we can watch 'em.
During the initial discussions with the clients, they mentioned that
they enjoyed collecting 1950’s memorabilia and wanted to design an
authentic 50’s diner atmosphere. By the time the design was complete, it
included a large game room, a soda fountain, state of the art theatre
and even a home office. In addition to the memorabilia, the space
features quilted stainless steel, curved glass block walls, red custom
cabinetry and metallic flaked vinyl to make the diner as authentic as
possible. The entire basement was designed to hide the load bearing
posts. All of the materials and accessories were woven together to make
the diner, theater, game room and home office as authentic and as
functional as possible.
