The lack of natural light
and the 1980’s styling in this bathroom were the chief complaints of the
homeowner. By knocking out a wall that blocked the windows, the master
bath was enlarged while allowing in natural light. Unused attic space
was used to create the new walk-in closet. The shell-shaped sinks, gold
hardware and outdated mosaic tile flooring were replaced with granite,
espresso cabinetry, recessed lighting, his-and-her mirrored medicine
cabinets and sophisticated, polished chrome fixtures. The new
shower nearly doubles the size and the new hydro-massage tub transform
this space into a spa-inspired sanctuary.
