Battery hazmat clean-up,
asbestos abatement, and previously unknown damage all had to be managed
during the restoration process. Reconfiguring the existing space, adding
modern electrical and lighting, and remodeling the exterior with
aluminum storefront totally changed the look and feel of this strip mall.
Working together with
five different tenants, all of which had varying needs and desired
outcomes, required good communication and flexibility. Creatively
providing solutions to accomplish the goals meant detailed coordination
for all the special inspections. The resulting transformation has taken
years off this older facility, making it on par with modern strip malls
being built today.
