This Architectural Digest
Candidate home located in an exclusive neighborhood suffered major fire
damage. The reconstruction was completed to current code standards and
included some convenience modernizations without adversely impacting the
home’s classic feel.
Creative construction methods were employed that reduced costs,
protected the home’s distinctive features, reduced exposure to the
elements and preserved the inherent beauty of real hardwood floors,
ornate crown molding, custom cabinetry, detailed fireplaces and
wainscoting.
Faced with concerns of devaluation, the restoration was not only
completely accomplished, but actually improved the value of an already
magnificent home.
