A major renovation of
this 1917 stone house remade the living spaces, finishes, and systems.
The house originally had formal rooms separate from a servants’ wing;
our renovations included a modern, open plan family room/breakfast
room/kitchen.
Upstairs, we reconfigured many small rooms to create a master suite,
private office, laundry, bedrooms, and baths for the new owner’s family.
A basement game room and exercise room were added.
Floors were refinished and windows replaced. The home retains its
elegant exterior and proportions, but has become an entirely new house
inside, with contemporary styling and a layout for modern living.
