Addition under $250,0000
We designed a
650-square-foot addition to our client’s suburban home as an
ageing-in-place apartment for his elderly dad. It has its own private
entrance, as well as an entrance through the main house, so the family
can be together or have privacy, as desired. There’s a large
bedroom/sitting room with cathedral ceiling, a full bathroom, a
kitchenette, and stacked laundry. The bathroom’s features include a
walk-in shower with bench and grab bars. Large windows bring in plenty
of daylight and garden views.
