The
goals for the renovation were to create a soothing rustic appearance
that would retain a luxurious high-end feeling consistently throughout
the home. The homeowners were very interested in putting their personal
mark on the space. A vast mixture of materials was selected throughout,
to create a layered and textured look that complements the rustic
feeling of the home. Mementos collected through extensive traveling,
along with handmade artistic pieces crafted by the owners were
incorporated to add a very personal touch. Highly customized cabinetry
curbs clutter, promotes organization, showcases personal items, and
allows flexibility.
