Kitchen Remodel - $75,000 - $150,000
The
homeowners of this 1920’s, Victorian 4-Square style home share a love of
classic architecture and antique finds they’ve collected over many years
in their travels throughout Europe and the U.S. Their existing kitchen
lacked the quality, style, layout and function they so desperately
needed. A large island was essential in the space, but if not planned
carefully, could become an obstacle rather than an enhancement. Making
sure each work zone was self-sufficient was key to making this layout
functional. Another major challenge was to incorporate a "mudroom" space
near the back door. This is the primary entrance used by family and
friends and opens directly into the kitchen.
