Like so
many remodeling projects, this one started out small. An undetected
stucco problem had caused the northwest corner of the home to sink. This
led the homeowners to decide on doing a whole house remodel.
The layout of the home was very compartmentalized; in order to open the
entire house, windows were added and walls were removed along with any
unnecessary hallways. Because the house was in a natural setting
filled with things they had collected throughout the world, it was
critical to find a way to bring everything together.
Through the use of finishes, lighting and space planning, this home has
the ability to bring different design elements together to form an
art-line whole, highlighting dramatic textures, robust architectural
elements and capturing the homes’ distinctive appearance.
