This included a 2,170 sq.
ft. addition onto a 3,430 sq. ft. tri-level mountaintop home to make it
handicap accessible as a comfortable retirement home. One of the
features of the project was installing an Otis elevator that was large
enough to accommodate a full size stretcher.
Because the home was on a mountain, significant amounts of solid rock
had to be excavated for the addition. Considering the scope and nature
of the project, it was amazing that it was completed within 6 months.
Two months after completion, they hosted a 70th birthday party, a
wedding, and even conducted meetings there for the Ft. Collins Symphony.
