This project required a
complete transformation of a dated and under-functioning master bath.
The inspiration was found in the client's Buddhist connection which
fueled the spirit of the place. However, form follows function in this
case, requiring separate, ample vanities, a toweling-off area just
outside the shower, a detached yet spacious toilet room with additional
storage, and plenty of room to lounge. Lumicor "Botannical Beach Grass"
panels wet in custom walnut frames were placed on either side of the
jetted deep soaking tub- one to shield the view of the bather, the other
to allow natural light into the very private space.
