The owners finally feel
at home because of their new kitchen and dining area that blends
seamlessly into the family room. The original kitchen was overdue for an
update, and they wanted better function with a sparkling personality.
Removing a wall, installing wood floors and consistent paint color
conjures the desired flow. The dining area opens up with a more useful
wall of cabinets. In the kitchen, glacier white cabinets contrast with
dark quartz and stainless steel to create drama. Sparkle comes from a
green glass tile backsplash. The lady of the house marvels that it’s
become “fun to cook,” and creates an excuse to entertain more.
