A home
built by a prolific St. Louis mid-century architect had a 1-car detached
garage that had seen better days. The late architect’s son now lives in
the home and his new 2-car garage is designed to match the style of the
house, down to the angle of the roof, the materials and the original
architectural aesthetic. The project includes new landscaping that
incorporates salvaged pieces from the original layout, and a new
concrete driveway with curbs to aid in water drainage.
