Married in their beloved barn nearly thirty
years ago, our client wanted to create a second floor accessory
apartment that a live-in caregiver could one day occupy as they aged in
place. In order to add this above the existing garage of their barn, we
had to expand, reinforce, insulate, and otherwise retrofit the building
-- all while providing the energy-efficiency and a minimized
environmental impact that the client desired. We did all of this and
delivered a beautiful building that will stand for many more years.
