This was the complete renovation of a home built in 1900. It required the demolition of a non-original wing on the rear of the house and the construction of a new two-story addition that is historically compatible. It also included the addition of a porte cochere and major re-build of the wraparound porches.

38 double hung two-over-two windows were repaired and rebuilt. The house was completely re-wired without tearing out any of the original tongue in groove ceilings & walls, and thousands of feet of woodwork were scraped, sanded and repaired.

The new owners report that the house feels both old and new at the same time. The addition fits both functionally and aesthetically.
