The owners wanted to
change the look of this typical 60’s waterfront block home to that of a
northern style wood framed house. And after living in Florida a few
years they added “maintenance free” to the wish list. The new roof
allowed for a steep pitch providing a dramatic look accenting the
standing seam metal roof. Faux aluminum venting in the gable end and new
sliding glass doors across the entire rear of the home provide a
stunning view of the inner coastal waterway. The maintenance free
features are: the Galvalume roof material, vinyl siding, vinyl clad
doors and windows, and perforated vinyl soffit and fascia…the only paint
is on the front stucco columns…a truly maintenance free exterior.
