2012 Best Basement Remodel

This
contemporary basement renovation was designed with the artist in mind.
Previously the basement was unfinished and used only for storage
purposes. The client found the need for space to spread out and be
creative, and also wanted a place to entertain and exercise. Clean lines
frame the entry to the artists’ den, while natural light pours into the
transom windows of the home gym. Here, an open entertainment area was
created that includes a wet bar, full bath, and stylish hidden storage
spaces with display niches, keeping clutter out of sight and art on the
mind.
