2006 Best Sunroom

The project scope and design concept was to remove and existing deteriorating side porch and add a new conservatory extending interior space outward from the kitchen while doing so in a historically appropriate manner that respects the existing historic structure. In the homeowner's own words, he didn't want to be remembered as the guy who "screwed-up this beautiful old home". The design solution added to the historical building without overwhelming the existing residence by developing plans and elevation proportions and details that were compatible and sympathetic with the character of the home.
