The outdated, choppy floor plan in one of DC’s most famous complexes was transformed into a minimalist space with maximized views. A simple palette of walnut and white cabinetry conceals appliances while providing ample storage. The peninsula extends into an open dining and living area, where the same rich brown luxury vinyl flooring contrasts against white walls. In the office, floating walnut shelves serve as both storage and display while echoing the walnut cabinetry in the kitchen. To preserve views and balcony access, the bedrooms maintain the minimalist vibe from the main living area.
