The idea for this project
was to create a bathroom that feels open and comfortable, more of a
living space than a traditional bathroom. This was achieved using a
large open floor plan, furniture style vanities, wood wainscoting, lots
of natural light, a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams, direct and
accent lighting and an oriental rug that ties the whole composition
together. The warm earth-tones of the wall color, cabinetry, porcelain
tile and limestone counters combine to create a relaxing, spa-like feel.
