This project involved the
complete gut renovation of a row house kitchen. Windows were added and a
section of masonry wall was converted to stud framing to maximize space
and create the effect of a bay. A new glass exterior door was added and
an existing 1970s angle bay window was removed and replaced with a box
bay more in keeping with the style of the house. The end result is a
sunny, open and inviting kitchen with great storage and seating space.
Ice Stone concrete/glass counters, a recycled glass tile backsplash,
bold glass pendants and bamboo floors provide sustainability and
liveliness that set a bright new mood for the whole house.
