A 135 year old house needed a new kitchen - one that would visually define the border between the kitchen and the adjacent dining area, yet simultaneously join the activities of one room to the other. Rigorous attention to the design of the cabinets and their interior components gave the clients all the storage capacity they had been lacking. Finally, a black granite raised counter provided a solid but inviting border between the kitchen and dining spaces.
