2015 Residential Exterior under $100,000

A family of five decided that they needed more space, and that it was more important to be outside than inside. Their old deck was ragged, beat up and needed revamping to be more functional and to improve the entire exterior of the home. Traffic flow mattered most to them, so a mudroom for the kidís muddy shoes was created behind the garage and the covered porch was connected to a large upscale deck with multiple entrances to the family rooms. A double staircase leads the deck into the large backyard for panoramic views of the parkland behind the property. A side staircase allows the kids to get in from the front corner into the covered porch and mudroom prior to entering the house. The large deck covered with synthetic railing and stained grade decking, offers extended living space just outside the kitchen and family room as well as a grill space and outdoor patio seating. This new outdoor facility has become the jewel of their neighborhood and now, more than ever, they get to enjoy their backyard and their activities.
