The clients wanted to
renovate the master bathroom in this early 1900’s home. They wanted a
4-piece bathroom that included a claw foot tub and pedestal sink. All of
the fixtures and finishes were to have the classic style that would suit
the original details of the home, and the overall feel of the space was
to be brighter and more spacious. The pedestal sink, medicine cabinet,
claw foot tub, traditional tile and wainscoting reflect the classic look
they desired. The sink helps add to the openness of the room, and the
adjacent cabinets provide necessary storage. The claw foot tub and open
glass shower also help give the bathroom an airy fell. The white tile,
fixtures, bead-board and light color wall paint help to create a bright
space, and are a nice contrast to the warmth of the hear pine flooring.
