2010 Best Residential Exterior
This
2-story modern home with a predominant shed roof and diagonal cedar
siding was custom-built for the client in 1988. They wanted more open
interior space, a gourmet kitchen, and a better views of their private
wooded yard, and a more inviting front façade with more curb appeal and
character. The new kitchen features dark stained cherry cabinetry,
granite countertops, and panoramic views of their lot, and on the
exterior, the addition of a gable over the garage, natural stone at the
entry and Arts & Crafts era inspired detailing erased the home’s modern
80’s styling.
