The kitchen
in this 1920’s home had been remodeled in the 1990’s. It was
dark, cramped and poorly suited to the home and the owners, who
have a growing family and enjoy casual entertaining and culinary
crafts. The goal was to create a more efficient kitchen with
enhanced storage and counter space, which could also be utilized
to teach in-home professional baking classes. The result will
withstand the test of time and is well suited for this historic
home. I now has a sufficiently spacious kitchen that serves the
owners’ culinary interests, entertaining and dining needs, while
improving traffic flow.
