2004 Best Deck/Porch
This project is the
creation of a unique entertainment area and leisure space for a family
that likes to entertain outdoors year round. It is a two-level outdoor
deck with an outdoor fireplace and open entertainment area. A smart
looking arched beaded board ceiling is framed out with cedar timber
framing, creating an open pavilion with wrought iron rails wrapping the
length of the deck creating a grand view to the back yard. Entertaining
on two levels is quite possible as the spaces are easily accessed, and a
roaring fire in the stacked stone fireplace will make entertaining
outdoors possible even in the coldest months.
