This kitchen addition has created new
possibilities for a modest ranch by transforming the floor plan to
alleviate congestion at the rear entry and expand the functionality of
the original galley kitchen. The resulting openness elevated the
homeowners' value and appreciation of their home...increased their use
of the basement, and allowed them to remain in a neighborhood they
loved. This project honors the character of the original house by
providing well-suited design solutions that blend tradtion with a clean
modern flair, while remaining cost conscious.
