2015 Regional Award
Kitchen Remodel over $150,000

After multiple interior and exterior updates and renovations, the time finally arrived to remodel the kitchen. As the most central room in the house, it had to tie together all of the previous projects. There were a number of adjacent rooms that were poorly connected either visually or functionally, and the clients wanted the new kitchen to incorporate these areas in a way that would be better for entertaining and daily living for a family of five. By removing the walls around the original kitchen, we were able to better connect to the rest of the main floor of the house visually. We were also able to draw more natural light throughout the core of the home. By adding more windows and pushing walls out, we were able to improve the views and connections to the exterior spaces around the house. As a result, the clients are extremely happy with their kitchen remodel and now spend more time together in the kitchen, and entertain more frequently.
