Best Home Theatre Under $150,000
Having just completed construction of their new home a
little over a year ago, this active family with three young children
began looking ahead. Having a desire to incorporate both adult and youth
social gatherings, a home theater was a must-have. Incorporating six of
the ten columns in the basement as interior design elements by wrapping
them in raised wood panels was one solution to the design challenge.
Additionally the last set of stair treads leading into the new home
theater were widened from forty-two to sixty inches, giving the space a
much grander and more inviting entrance. In order to create
architectural interest and showcase the home theater, the builder
installed a coffered ceiling. This new home theater allows the family to
have an area they can all enjoy and share through the years.
