The homeowners set out with
a goal of creating a safe and remote space to reflect and recharge in
the presence of God and His creation for themselves and their community
on their beautifully wooded lot.
This chapel, crafted from oak timbers and hand-shaped stone at the top
of their hillside lot (which could only be accessed by a walking trail),
was exactly what they had in mind! They have been using the space
regularly since completion and the beautiful, durable material choices
will ensure that the chapel will act as a place of peaceful
solitude for generations to come!
